Launch and the first week
What to have ready on launch day, and what to read every day afterwards.

Before you publish
- Thumbnails: ten ideas written first, the best two or three made. See the thumbnails guides.
- Icon: the strongest thumbnail idea as a 512x512 crop, readable at 50 px.
- Store page: name, description, genre, max players, and supported devices (phone, tablet, console). Check each device actually works.
- Products and passes: created, priced, and tested through
ProcessReceiptin test purchase mode. Granted exactly once, surviving a rejoin. - Analytics wired in before launch, not after. Custom events and funnels for the first-time flow: join, first earn, first purchase, first rebirth. Data you didn't collect on day one is gone.
- Security settings: enable "Allow HTTP Requests" only if something actually needs it.
The first week
- Read the funnel daily. The biggest drop-off is almost always in the first few minutes. Fix that before adding content.
- Plan updates from data, not from what's fun to build next.
- Write down what changed and its effect for every update, so the next decision has evidence behind it.
