What Roblox allows
Game page videos must be authentic gameplay.
- Allowed: varied camera angles, minor post-processing, curated highlight sequences, in-game UI text, a game logo overlay.
- Not allowed: features the game doesn't have, artificially enhanced graphics, real-life or external footage, text claims or ads ("50% off").
- Audio: music from Roblox's catalog or licensed instrumentals. No voice-over, narration, voice chat, or music with lyrics.
- Rejected videos still use up your upload quota, so check the rules before uploading.

Editing rhythm
- Hook in under 3 seconds. The first frame has to show the game's best idea, not a logo.
- Speed up travel to 1.5 to 1.9x so walking doesn't drag, and ease back to 1x as the action lands.
- Payoffs at 0.5 to 0.6x for about a second, then back to 1x.
- Montage beats of 1.2 to 1.6 s, as hard cuts.
- One or two whip transitions in total. More is a slideshow.
- Title card about 2.5 s, flashed in.
Recording
- Record only the Studio viewport, cropped to it. Never capture the full screen: whatever else is open ends up in the footage.
- Close heavy apps before recording; dropped frames show as stutter in slow motion.
- Delete test takes and intermediate files as you go.
Loudness
Normalise the final mix: about -14 LUFS with true peak at -1 dB for YouTube and TikTok cuts. Duck the music under sound effects with sidechain compression rather than by hand.
Social cuts
Cut a 9:16 version for Shorts and TikTok from the same footage. A call-to-action card (about 1.6 s) belongs only in the social cut, never in the Roblox page video.
